Seminole Rest is a National Parks Service property consisting of a 21 acre
site of prehistoric shell mounds with two houses built on the larges of
these mounds.
These houses are know as the Main House and the
Caretaker's House. Both houses date to the 1890s and were occupied by the
Snyder family for most of their existence.
We were commissioned to
survey hardware in both houses and to conduct a paint investigation of the
Caretaker's House.
